Tom’s Inn-one of the best budget hotels in Kovalam Beach

Tom’s Inn is B & B- bed and breakfast, under the aegis of Thomas Hotel and Resorts. It’s a charming place- located about 12 kilometers from the Trivandrum Airport, and is equally well connected to the rest of the modes of transport, namely rail and road.

The USP of this hotel is that it is pretty reasonable and being a part of the THR group, the accommodation does not disappoint- the rooms are intelligently designed and tastefully decorated.

We didn’t expect the bathrooms to be so luxurious and large in a budget hotel and were pleasantly surprised.

We stayed in their Sea View Rooms for our anniversary and we had a great time- the view was to die for!

The great thing about Kerala is that while most of the country is swathed in layers to escape the cold, in Kerala the weather is pleasant and sunny! Such a respite from the horrible Delhi winters!

We had a good time at Eve’s Beach-just a few minutes away from the hotel. A beautiful beach to be for sure, especially on moonlit nights.

And then of course, there’s the pool. They have two-one outdoor and one indoor. I usually went for a swim pretty early in morning- I like to get an early start to the day, even on vacation!

The buffet is pretty decent- the dinner buffet is especially quite diverse and the culinary preparations are quite tasty.

Overall, I definitely give this one a thumbs up!

Ideally located a stone’s throw away from the breathtaking Eve’s Beach, Tom’s Inn is a great option for an inexpensive beach vacation!

It’s the good life at this beach hotel- beneath the palm trees, soaking up the sun and feasting on scrumptious seafood-one of the best vacations I’ve had in a long time.

Kerala’s backwaters were, without a doubt, the highlight of my vacation! The serene calm of the place got me into a pensive mood-but that’s what happens when one is in the lap of nature and this was one such experience!

The rooms are nice, spacious and I had the best night’s sleep in their oh-so-comfortable beds! The view of the sea in the morning was an added bonus at this beach hotel!

They’ve got two swimming pools-an indoor and outdoor pool – I and my family had a lot of fun frolicking about in the water! The kids had a lot of fun, and we literally had to drag them out of the water!

Overall, I simply had a great vacation at this beach resort and it worked out pretty well for our four member family- we stayed a week and it was blissful, to say the least!

I definitely recommend this place for the three S’s of a perfect holiday-sea, sand and the sun!
