Rejuvenating experience at this spa in Kovalam

I was in God’s Own Country and had put up in this charming little bed and breakfast in Kovalam. We had put up in Tom’s Inn Premium, a part of the THR group and although a budget hotel- it didn’t disappoint. Modern amenities and rooms surrounded by lush greenery made for an awesome stay at this place. I was booked in the Garden View Room since their Sea View Rooms were all sold out but the garden view rooms had their own charm. Really a nature lover’s haven and so reasonable!

And this is the best part- they’ve got two pools! One indoor and one outdoor! Loved it – tried both of them and had a good time. But the best part was yet to come.

I had been feeling very stressed lately and felt like vacation would do me good. But I was still very tense while on vacation, so my husband booked me a session at the hotel’s Vaidyasala.

Little did he know how happy he’d just made me. For when the masseuses were done, I was light as a feather. Ayurveda is the USP of Kerala and these ancient traditions are really brilliant. A traditional Shirodhara massage worked wonders for my body and my stress level disappeared. It’s not some magic or anything of course and stress is a part of life- but for a couple of days at least, I learnt to appreciate life a bit more. I really recommend this hotel in Kovalam.
